NSBHS Environment Committee Meetings
On this page, general planning for forthcoming meetings occurs. To add an agenda, please add it to the list, and rate it in terms of priority (whereby 1 represents high priority and 5 low). We may need to remove certain agendas of lower priorities, as of time constraints. Also, could you please write how long you think your item might take. This will also help us eliminate some items if necessary. Thankyou.

Environment Committee Meetings are held every Tuesday lunchtime in Laboratory 6. The Committee makes decisions based on the principle of consensus. To quote Wikipedia:
Ideally, achieving consensus requires serious treatment of every group member's considered opinion. Those who wish to take up some action want to hear those who oppose it, because they count on the fact that the ensuing debate will improve the consensus. Action without resolution of considered opposition will be rare and done with attention to minimize damage to relationships.

Because of the USYD seminar in lunch, I won't be able to attend the meeting! (Sorry!)
- Open Day Stand - Ansh/Simon/Oliver, could you please fill in the form (that Miss Hofler can give you) and sort out our Open Day stall! CC me when you email the form (ASAP! Today?!) I'd like it if atleast one of you could be present on the day.
- BayerBOOST - Just a quick reminder about the scholarships - You apply -> Get chosen -> Work for ~10 weeks and also get $5K! You can choose what you want to work on (a project of your choice) and WHEN you want to work! Great opportunity! Apply soon…Deadlines are 15th August. Ask Amogh or Ms. Hofler for details.
- EEC Workshops - Could I please have Simon and Alex (+ others involved with the workshops) to provide a draft outline of all that will be discussed! September is fast approaching and we need to sort out the student side ASAP!
- Dr. Karl - Jonathan, I'm yet to receive an email from you! Look I think it may be too late now. Confirm from Justin.
- EnviroInspiro SHOULD (hopefully) have a video to present. Groups keen on watching it! Could we in fact display it at the EEC? (Something that keeps running the background etc.)
