If you'd like to be a part of Generation Earth, just come along to a meeting Tuesday lunch! There is no obligation to be at every meeting. You can still be a huge help even if you don't come regularly.

1. Today we had a joint NSG NSB meeting for discussion of Youth Decide.
• Joint press release to be given to local newspapers and TV stations and letters to local MPs/

• Publicity events at NSB – Few of us to go to NSB this week to dance the flash mob dance.

1. Today Deepa Gupta class of 05 came to talk to us about her work in India and to encourage our school to participate in YOUthDecide. Great speech!
2. Update on Bottled Water
- Tracey called up the suppliers for coolchange and has discovered that the whole company is a hoax. Disappointing! But the guy will get back to her in a few days with another brand of bottled water that is biodegradable.
3. Update on YOUth Decide
- Video to be edited my Addie. Please pass on all clips to her ASAP. To be shown next Tuesday at assembly.
- Voting done on laptops; won’t be allowed to take them to each classroom. Instead people can come at lunch and recess.
4. New Ideas
- Plastic bag exchange like James Ruse Ag High. They offered a cloth bag in exchange for 10 plastic bags. To be discussed on Wiki

We're planning a speaker to come in one assembly to talk for us.
Flash mob dance rehearsals on this Friday lunchtime. There will be an announcement made to remind everyone. Please tell your friends to come and if they're interested in joining please forward them this email so they can email back and join the contact list.
The actual dance will be on Next Wednesday at lunch. Lily and Addie to film the event and post on youtube. Gen Earth youtube account to be made. :]
We'll aim to have a video presentation on next Tuesday about Powershift and a speaker the week after.
