Time Capsule

Is an idea for the construction of two large, Earth-like time capsules which will be used in the EEC to hold objects that some students may bring in.

Weekly Report

Term 2

Summary: The two balls have deflated over the holidays. One ball's metal skeleton is still in tact and has been completed. The other's skeleton has collapsed so we're reinflating a ball to redo the skeleton.

Week 7

  • We continued to add more layers to the globes.
  • We met up with Adrian to talk about the balloon and so that he could help us with any problems.

Week 8

  • Applied extra layers on first globe and used a flour based mixture that Armaan helped obtain.

Week 9

  • Added extra layers to first ball, skeleton of second ball made.
  • Due to a shortage of time, extra sessions have been made for these two weeks.
